  2. Somehow, that seems so long ago…

I’ve had ~3.5in rain in the last two days — it’s a waterfall everywhere you stand!

  3. Are you near Seattle by any chance, Jan? They’ve declared a state of emergency out here from the rain.

Anyway, I’m not sure how anyone could not love Multnomah Falls … unless they’ve never been there?

  4. I know people who love the Falls who haven’t ever been there. They saw the photos you two took.

  5. Next time keep going east. At Hood River you should board the excursion train to Parkdale. Forget about all the other people and make your way onto the observation deck on the observation car. On the way up, it will be noisy. On the way back, the magic happens. The train does a run around leaving the observation deck at the very rear of the train. Mt. Hood is off in the distance. You hear the trickling from the irrigation in the pear orchards. Bald Eagles fly close to you. It is a great experience.

    I love Oregon.
