Guitar Hero?
What exactly is the point of the game Guitar Hero? Spending tens or even hundreds of hours learning to play a fake guitar? Why don’t they actually learn to play the guitar? With the time commitment some of these people make for the game, learning the actual guitar isn’t really out of line. They won’t play like Bonnie Raitt or anything, but they’d be learning something real.
It’s not going to happen of course. They’ll continue to flock to stores to buy fake guitars so that they can spend hundreds of hours learning to pretend to play the guitar. I just don’t get it.

Hey, I like Bonnie Raitt! She’s a fruitcake like the rest of them, but she can really play that guitar. I like guitar players mostly because my Dad has always played classical guitar. (He’s into playing flamenco now.) Maybe I should get him the game for his birthday that’s coming up!

And you can get a pretty decent guitar for what they spend on games. But it doesn’t come with flashy lights though. And results aren’t instantaneous with a real guitar. I’m glad my bro taught how to play and that we didn’t even have television. Now I rock out and chicks think I’m hot!
