Fake scandal, manufactured offenses

Michelle Malkin – AMERICAN NEWSPAPERS, WILL YOU PLEASE STAND UP?

Over the weekend, the Dallas Morning News also ran one of the cartoons–but, like CNN, pixelated the image (as if it were porn) to protect readers’ delicate eyes. Funny, I can’t recall any newspapers that pixelated the Abu Ghraib photos. Can you?

The pixelation of the images on CNN was more than a little odd. What exactly was the point? Do they think that rioting youth in Syria will appreciate their tact? The answer is no. They’ll still hate the USA, they’ll still hate Christians, and they’ll still hate CNN. It’s the ideas and philosophies behind the issues that are the driving force here. The mullahs who appear to be behind these riots and protests don’t like our Freedoms. They don’t like the Freedom of Religion, they don’t like the Freedom of Speech. That is the key issue here. They want to be free to say anything they want about anyone they want no matter how offensive, we are not allowed to respond.

This should have been a non-story. If it wasn’t for a few Danish Imams we would never have heard of this. Even then these Imams didn’t just report on publications in Denmark, but fabricated some images of their own. It’s odd how they can be offended by images that they found or manufactured themselves.

Whether it’s in regards to speech, religion, or other innate freedoms it’s interesting how much these people allow themselves that they would deny from others.
