I’m not a fan of PETA, I think they often push things too far and turn people away. That said, I agree that they usually seem to have their heart n the right place. I don’t understand this case at all.

I *do* generally think PETA at least has their heart in the right place, even if I sometimes disagree with everything from that point on. But this, wow. My imagination stretches to come up with any way to try to justify this on any grounds. It’s true that animal shelters can be unpleasant places, much like jail for animals, and that healthy intakes can become sick. Summary execution is NOT better than unpleasant conditions.
