Site updated
I’ve updated four blogs, including this one, to WordPress 2.1 in the last 45 minutes. Upgrades are very smooth. I don’t use too many plugins, so that wasn’t much of an issue. All of my plugins had a version approved for this version already, though I did have to upgrade one plugin. I’d apparently fallen behind on plugin updates.
I updated to 2.0.x, and it trashed my blog. I had to have tech support restore a backup.

I’ve heard of people having problems, but I’ve sure had good luck with it.

I’m still stuck not being able to migrate my blogger beta stuff to wp… so I can’t imagine figuring out an upgrade anytime soon

But Bre, you already did upgrade. WordPress.com upgraded all of their blogs to 2.1 already. The import page now includes “Old Blogger”. I wonder if that’s different than the “Blogger” import that they had before? Blogger Beta (2?) doesn’t seem to be an option yet.
