It’s amazing just how deceptive they can be. I know many years ago I went to the Meramec Caverns in Missouri and the same was true.

The pool looks very deep, all kinds of interesting shapes are visible. The host host carries on for a moment about how deep it is, then he shines a flashlight directly on the water… about three inches. Everything you’re seeing is a reflection of the ceiling.

Absolutely beautiful! And how deep is it? 2″ or 200 feet?
