Flattery will get you nothing

Now that’s flattering. Despite the title of this post, flattery will actually usually get you at least a link. In this case I added him to my blogroll too, he’s got a nice site.
“Intelligent and articulate” Obviously he hasn’t read my site for very long. Give him a few weeks, and he’ll likely change it to something like “A cowboy who can occasionally put words together in an understandable order.” He must have got me on a good day.

For the record, I wasn’t fishing for a link. Like your latest post says, I recommend every site in my blog roll for a different reason: you’ve simply earned a place there, at least from what I’ve seen so far. I’m not exactly a big fan of the conservative ideology, but it comes in various forms, and yours is downright agreeable. You won’t hear it from me, but there’s a bit of bias in my site, part of this liberal media you hear so much about. My readers deserve some balance lest I lead them astray. I can’t recommend Rush Limbaugh or Bill O’Reilly. But with our disagreement over Ahmed-crazy-jad it’s clear there’s something in common underneath the bitter war between tree hugging hippies and war hawk conservatives.
